10th Anniversary Special Releases
The Instinct discography is currently under re-construction, but please note that Shiina Ringo has two brand new anniversary releases coming out this July! The first is Watashi to Houden a two-disc collection of b-sides and rare tracks. The other, Watashi to Hatsuden is a DVD containing all of her PVs as well as a brand new one for the song "Mellow". Both are available to pre-order at sites like CDJapan.jp and HMV.co.jp.
ringo's song heard 'round the world
Shiina Ringo's latest single Kono Yo no Kagiri has made its debut in the world market thanks to digital music provider iTunes. Although the US and Canadian fans still have to wait, the rest of the world can now enjoy its Shiina Ringo (listed as "Ringo Sheena" in the UK) for the equivalent of 99 cents a song.
Additionally, the Tokyo Jihen/Tokyo Incidents' latest album Variety as well as its singles have also been added to the UK iTunes. At the moment (March 17, 2008) they have two artists pages, each with different material for purchase: Tokyo Incidents and Tokyo Jihen.
As for the rest of us stuck in the US and Canada, there's always iTunes' request feature.
